Kline, professeur associ\u00e9 \u00e0 l&#8217;universit\u00e9 de Pittsburgh, a port\u00e9 sur un programme de perte de poids de 12 mois auquel ont particip\u00e9 125 adultes en surpoids ou ob\u00e8ses, ne pr\u00e9sentant pas de troubles m\u00e9dicaux n\u00e9cessitant une surveillance du r\u00e9gime ou de l&#8217;activit\u00e9 physique. Les habitudes de sommeil des participants ont \u00e9t\u00e9 mesur\u00e9es au d\u00e9but de l&#8217;\u00e9tude, apr\u00e8s 6 mois et apr\u00e8s 12 mois, \u00e0 l&#8217;aide de diverses m\u00e9thodes, notamment des questionnaires et des dispositifs portables, et un score composite de sant\u00e9 du sommeil de 0 \u00e0 6 leur a \u00e9t\u00e9 attribu\u00e9 sur la base de six mesures du sommeil. L&#8217;adh\u00e9sion au programme de perte de poids a \u00e9galement \u00e9t\u00e9 mesur\u00e9e, notamment l&#8217;assiduit\u00e9 aux s\u00e9ances d&#8217;intervention de groupe, l&#8217;apport calorique et les niveaux d&#8217;activit\u00e9 physique. Au d\u00e9but de l&#8217;\u00e9tude, apr\u00e8s 6 mois et apr\u00e8s 12 mois, les participants avaient un score moyen de 4,5 sur 6 pour la sant\u00e9 du sommeil.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Qu&#8217;a-t-on trouv\u00e9 ?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Apr\u00e8s ajustement en fonction de l&#8217;\u00e2ge, du sexe, de la race et du partage du lit, les chercheurs ont d\u00e9couvert que des scores plus \u00e9lev\u00e9s en mati\u00e8re de sant\u00e9 du sommeil \u00e9taient li\u00e9s \u00e0 une meilleure adh\u00e9sion aux s\u00e9ances d&#8217;intervalle de groupe, aux objectifs d&#8217;apport calorique et \u00e0 l&#8217;am\u00e9lioration de l&#8217;activit\u00e9 physique mod\u00e9r\u00e9e-vigoureuse. L&#8217;\u00e9tude a r\u00e9v\u00e9l\u00e9 que :<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Au cours des six premiers mois, les participants ont assist\u00e9 \u00e0 79 % des s\u00e9ances de groupe, tandis qu&#8217;au cours des six mois suivants, l&#8217;assiduit\u00e9 est tomb\u00e9e \u00e0 62 %.<br>Au cours des six premiers mois, les participants ont atteint leurs objectifs d&#8217;apport calorique quotidien dans 36 % des cas, alors qu&#8217;au cours des six mois suivants, ce taux est tomb\u00e9 \u00e0 21 %.<br>Au cours des six premiers mois, les participants ont augment\u00e9 de 8,7 minutes le temps total qu&#8217;ils consacrent chaque jour \u00e0 une activit\u00e9 mod\u00e9r\u00e9e-vigoureuse, mais au cours des six mois suivants, ce temps a diminu\u00e9 de 3,7 minutes.<br>Selon Kline, la diminution de la participation aux s\u00e9ances de groupe, de l&#8217;apport calorique et du temps consacr\u00e9 \u00e0 une activit\u00e9 mod\u00e9r\u00e9e-vigoureuse au cours des six mois suivants \u00e9tait pr\u00e9visible. &#8220;Au fur et \u00e0 mesure que l&#8217;on poursuit une intervention comportementale de perte de poids \u00e0 long terme, il est normal que l&#8217;adh\u00e9sion aux comportements de perte de poids diminue&#8221;, a-t-il d\u00e9clar\u00e9.<br>En outre, bien qu&#8217;il y ait eu une corr\u00e9lation entre de meilleurs scores de sant\u00e9 pendant le sommeil et une activit\u00e9 physique accrue, la corr\u00e9lation n&#8217;\u00e9tait pas assez forte pour \u00eatre statistiquement significative, ce qui signifie que les r\u00e9sultats peuvent \u00eatre dus au hasard.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Des recherches pr\u00e9liminaires pr\u00e9sent\u00e9es lors des sessions scientifiques 2023 de l&#8217;American Heart Association sur l&#8217;\u00e9pid\u00e9miologie, la pr\u00e9vention, le mode de vie et la sant\u00e9 cardiom\u00e9tabolique sugg\u00e8rent que les personnes qui b\u00e9n\u00e9ficient d&#8217;un sommeil de qualit\u00e9 r\u00e9ussissent mieux \u00e0 respecter leurs plans d&#8217;exercice et de r\u00e9gime lorsqu&#8217;elles tentent de perdre du poids.
